The Beijing Arbitration Commission (BAC) has sponsored a full-tuition scholarship for Pepperdine University’s Master of Laws in International Commercial Arbitration.
BAC vice-chairman Wang Hongsong said the commission’s move represents the first time an international commercial arbitration scholarship based overseas has been sponsored by a Chinese arbitration institution.
Wang said the decision to sponsor the Pepperdine scholarship “is an effort to attract talent to join the international arbitration industry”.
