DeHeng Law Offices has officially entered Riyadh, the capital city of Saudi Arabia, becoming the first Chinese law firm to establish a presence in the country.
The new office, co-led by partner William Jia and Saudi lawyer Dhari Saad Alharbi, is affiliated with locally based DSH Law Firm and it currently has a team of 18 lawyers. It officially opened on 4 December 2024.
Jia, who specialises in international engineering, project finance and dispute resolution, also serves as the head of DeHeng’s Dubai office. He is the only Chinese lawyer licensed to practice in China and Dubai, bringing more than 30 years of experience to the role, including two decades spent in Dubai.
