David Cameron Law Office (DCLO) has boosted its bench with the addition of Kris Daswani as a partner in Hong Kong and plans to double its size by year-end.

With Daswani becoming the firm’s third partner hire in five months, David Cameron, managing partner of DCLO, shared with Asia Business Law Journal the firm’s unique appeal to experienced lawyers.

“Our firm offers a platform that embraces innovation, provides direct client engagement and takes a client-first approach. We operate as a true partner-led practice, free from bureaucracy,” said Cameron.

Daswani brings more than 25 years of legal and regulatory expertise in financial markets, specialising in banking and finance. Her experience includes in-house leadership roles at Citi, JPMorgan and Standard Chartered. She has advised global financial institutions on cross-border transactions, covering areas such as digital payments, trade finance and prime finance transactions.

Her appointment follows the recent additions of partners Aoife Griffin and Matthew Love in the fourth quarter of 2024.
