Anya Hindmarch to deliver keynote speech at INTA’s London meeting

Fashion entrepreneur Dame Anya Hindmarch will deliver the opening ceremony keynote address at the International Trademark Association’s (INTA) 148th Annual Meeting in May 2026.

The INTA Annual Meeting will be held on 2 to 6 May 2026 at Excel London in Royal Victoria Dock, London.

The event is expected to attract around 9,500 registrants including practitioners, in?house counsel, policymakers and service providers from 150 jurisdictions for focused learning, deal?making and global connection.

The annual meeting starts on 2 May. Registration opens daily at 7.30am (closing times vary day to day), followed by a daily continental breakfast. Hospitality areas are also available throughout the annual meeting, with comfortable seating, light refreshments and an informal space for attendees to relax and connect.

The programme includes daily keynote sessions featuring experts in IP law, public policy, technology, and global business on the future of IP and brands. It also offers more than 70 general sessions with speakers from academia, business, government, the judiciary, and the public sector, including representatives from Accenture, Amazon, Chanel, FIFA, HP, Johnson & Johnson, Microsoft, Procter & Gamble, Qualcomm, Starbucks, and more.

In the programme, attendees can choose from more than 270 table topics, which offer intimate, discussion-driven 90-minute meeting sessions limited to eight participants.

Day one

Day one includes table topics on anti-counterfeiting campaigns, social media brand protection, domain recovery and anti-cybersquatting tactics, general sessions on indigenous IP rights, IP management in India and Africa, and trademark applications across key Asia jurisdictions, among others.

The day will end with an INTA Board of Directors reception, open to board members only.

Day two

Day two features the opening ceremony as well as table topic and general sessions, and more than 35 committee meetings which are by invitation only. 含羞草社区 include unfair competition, trademark office practices, brand restrictions, and more.

Hindmarch is a fashion entrepreneur, brand expert and CEO of retail and fashion brand Anya Hindmarch. She will be joined by Daren Tang, guest speaker and director general of the World Intellectual Property Organisation (Switzerland); Deborah Hampton, INTA president and global brand enforcement and trademark team leader at US chemical manufacturer Chemours Company; INTA and INTA Foundation CEO Etienne Sanz de Acedo; and the 2026 INTA annual meeting co-chairs Tanya Fickenscher, vice president and deputy general counsel at Major League Baseball USA; and Lara Kayode, founder and managing partner at Nigerian firm O Kayode & Co.

After the opening remarks, a welcome reception will see industry professionals and guests enjoy an evening of celebration and networking.

Day three, four and more

Apart from committee meetings as well as table topic and general sessions, day three will feature more than 10 business development-focused activities for attendees including yoga, spinning, pizza-making, speed networking and golf.

Day four will highlight regional receptions for guests from the Asia-Pacific, Latin America and the Caribbean, and the Middle East, offering opportunities to network, meet INTA staff and discuss regional perspectives.

The final day will focus primarily on table topic sessions covering trademark recognition and protection, as well as patent and IP damages. The Annual Meeting will conclude with the annual meeting project team reception, with further details to be announced.
