Anli Partners has hired You Bailu and Xu Haibo as partners for their Shanghai and Hangzhou branches, respectively, to amp up their legal services in the Yangtze River Delta region.
You was a former senior counsel at Yuanda Partners, where she held the post as the head of the data compliance group. She had been advising companies expanding abroad to countries like Singapore, Thailand and Russia on data compliance.
She is also skilled in commercial dispute resolution and has extensive experience in protecting companies’ data assets in cross-border disputes.
Xu, on the other hand, is a criminal defence and prosecution lawyer with experience in handling traditional crimes, cybercrimes, tax-related crimes and smuggling cases.
Before joining Anli, he worked at Kindall Law Firm and its affiliated brand Shanghai Kindall Law Firm for nine years, where he was once the head of Kindall’s Nanjing branch and Shanghai Kindall’s head of customs and criminal department.
