Dual-qualified in India and the UK, Kishore brings expertise in cross-border commercial disputes, with a strong track record in high-stakes international arbitrations across infrastructure, energy and pharmaceuticals.

His practice spans across infrastructure, construction, energy and mining, pharmaceuticals, shipping, telecommunications and cross-border investments.

In addition, Kishore is a fellow of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators and a member of the Singapore Institute of Arbitrators. He is also listed on the SIAC’s reserve panel of arbitrators. In addition, he serves on the steering committee of the Legal Services Interest Group at the Singapore International Chamber of Commerce.

Mark Ng will be joining him as a senior associate in the litigation, arbitration and dispute resolution practice group. He specialises in sectors such as aviation, infrastructure and pharmaceuticals.

Both Kishore and Ng were previously with Bird & Bird ATMD.

“Akshay’s sector expertise and focus on India-related disputes will further strengthen our regional offering and reinforce our commitment to cross-border dispute resolution,” said Leon Yee, chairman of Duane Morris & Selvam.
