Tian Yuan Law Firm has appointed Dantes Leung, who is well-versed in commercial litigation and international arbitration, as a partner at its Hong Kong office.
Before joining Tian Yuan, Leung was a partner at Hong Kong boutique firm Oldham Li & Nie, where he represented clients in disputes involving international contracts and shareholders, inheritance and trusts, intellectual property, as well as fraud and debt recovery.
He is an arbitrator at the Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre, the Thailand Arbitration Centre, the Korean Commercial Arbitration Board and the Chinese Arbitration Association in Taiwan. He is also a mediator at the Hetao International Commercial Mediation Centre.
Leung has been in the legal industry for 18 years, having previously worked at Stephenson Harwood, Slaughter and May and Skadden. He is a Hong Kong, and England and Wales qualified lawyer, and has received the Guangdong-Hong Kong-Macao Greater Bay Area lawyer’s licence.
Tian Yuan’s director Zhu Xiaohui said Leung’s addition would amp up the firm’s business presence in the Greater Bay Area.
