RDS Partnership has bolstered its energy, infrastructure and projects practice with the appointment of Kamilah Kasim as a partner.
Saravana Kumar, founding partner and head of tax, SST (sales and service tax) and customs, told Asia Business Law Journal that bringing Kasim on board was a strategic move.
“She is also a strategic hire as we continue to expand our practice and clientele, particularly in light of our business collaboration with Anderson Mori [& Tomotsune] of Japan. Her experience and standing in the market will be instrumental in supporting our growing international work and meeting the evolving needs of our clients,” said Kumar.
Kasim joins RDS from Rahmat Lim & Partners, where she headed the energy, infrastructure and projects practice. She was concurrently a partner at Allen & Gledhill, Rahmat Lim’s associate firm in Singapore.
With nearly 40 years of experience, Kasim specialises in infrastructure, energy and utilities projects in Malaysia and across the region.
