Llinks Law Offices has recently appointed partners Vivian Ji and Daniel Leung for its Hong Kong branch, strengthening the firm’s international capital markets and corporate commercial capabilities.

Ji brings more than 16 years of experience in Hong Kong, focusing on capital markets transactions, including Hong Kong IPOs, offshore bond issuances, mergers and acquisitions, and secondary market fundraisings by Hong Kong-listed companies. She specialises in complex offshore debt offerings, including guaranteed bonds, standby letter of credit-backed bonds, free-trade zone bonds, and “Yulan bonds” jointly launched by the Shanghai Clearing House and Euroclear.

Prior to joining Llinks, Ji had served as a partner at Reed Smith’s Hong Kong office since early 2023. Before that, she was a partner at boutique Hong Kong corporate finance firm Jeffrey Mak Law Firm. Earlier in her career, she practised at Stevenson Wong & Co.

Ji obtained her PRC legal qualification in 2008, was admitted as a solicitor in Hong Kong in 2009, and acquired the Greater Bay Area (GBA) legal practice qualification in 2024.

Leung has more than 20 years of experience practising in Hong Kong, specialising in corporate and commercial matters, with extensive experience in cross-border supply chain transactions.

His work spans the full lifecycle of product development and global distribution across industries including robotics, electric vehicles, smartphones, artificial intelligence applications, ventilators and advanced textiles.

He also advises domestic and international technology companies on ESG strategy, financing, data compliance, intellectual property and cross-border dispute resolution.

Before joining Llinks, Leung had been a partner at Holman Fenwick Willan’s Hong Kong office since 2019. Since early 2023, he has also been associated with Wang Jing & GH Law Firm as a GBA lawyer. Earlier in his career, he practised at Angela Wang & Co in Hong Kong and at the Shanghai office of Squire Patton Boggs.

Leung is admitted to practise in Hong Kong, England and Wales, and the British Virgin Islands, and obtained his GBA legal practice qualification in 2023.
