Haiwen & Partners has hired two seasoned capital markets lawyers – Sherry Cui as a partner and Leeza Lee as a counsel in the Hong Kong office.
Prior to joining Haiwen, Cui served as a capital markets partner at Linklaters, where she practised for nearly 20 years. She has extensive experience in the international debt capital markets and was involved in significant transactions, including China’s first international issuance of green asset-backed securities and a RMB10 billion note issuance by China’s central bank in Hong Kong Cui holds dual qualifications to practice in both Hong Kong, and England and Wales.
Lee previously served as the head of capital markets and financing at Singapore’s BTPLaw and was a senior lawyer at Linklaters. With more than 10 years of experience in cross-border capital markets, she has advised prominent companies such as Meituan, Cathay Pacific and R&F Properties on key transactions. Lee is qualified to practice in both Hong Kong and Singapore.
