Grandway Law Offices has recruited Liu Zhiwei and Cao Jian as partners at its Shenzhen and Suzhou offices, respectively, bolstering the firm’s capabilities in intellectual property and related practice areas.
Liu specialises in intellectual property, competition law and antitrust matters. Before joining Grandway, he was a senior partner at LongAn Law Firm.
Cao’s practice spans corporate and contract law, civil and commercial arbitration, overseas investment, private equity funds and education. He also has extensive experience in intellectual property and entertainment law. Previously, he was a partner at Anli Partners, and has advised prominent clients including the MTR Corp, China Minsheng Bank and Poly Developments and Holdings.
