Charles Russell Speechlys has bolstered its corporate practice with the hiring of former Squire Patton Boggs partners Francis Li and Wendy Fong in Hong Kong.
Li and Fong are both former partners at Cleveland-headquartered firm Squire Patton Boggs, where they advised clients on corporate finance and equity capital markets.
Li, who has been with Squire Patton Boggs for 20 years, has been advising on corporate matters to companies in Hong Kong, China, Singapore and other Asian countries. He previously served as an investment banker, advising clients on equity capital market transactions.
Fong, who has been with the previous firm for seven years, has been advising multinational companies, investment banks and private equity funds on corporate finance matters, including IPO, M&A and private equity.
