Watson Farley & Williams (WFW) has bolstered its corporate practice in Bangkok with the appointment of Sonya Kalnin as a partner, highlighting the firm’s ongoing commitment to growth in Asia’s energy and infrastructure sectors.

Kalnin previously held positions at Linklaters, Allen & Overy and Mayer Brown. She is a dual-qualified lawyer in England and Wales and Ontario, Canada, and brings more than 20 years of experience to the team, specialising in cross-border M&A, joint ventures and project finance. Kalnin’s expertise spans advising clients from startups to established companies in the energy and infrastructure sectors.
