The Munich-based chemical company WACKER officially signed a transaction agreement on October 27, 2021, to acquire 60% of the shares of Shandong Silicon New Materials Co., Ltd., a specialty silane producer located in Jining, China, for approximately 120 million euros. The entire transaction is expected to complete in the first half of 2022. In this transaction, a Dentons team composed of partner Na Yanlin, partner Ding Hualei, and attorney Zhang Chi represented the acquired party in reviewing, negotiating, and revising legal documents. The Dentons China team also provided full legal services, including transaction agreement signing, signature witnessing, and anti-monopoly review and have won the recognition of both parties of the transaction for their professional and efficient legal services.
