On the 10^th and 13^th of September 2021, FIDIC Global Infrastructure Conference (“FIDIC Conference”) was held virtually with the participants from all over the world. The theme of DIFIC Conference this year is“Investing in Future Infrastructure Governance and Leadership in a Post-pandemic World”, which by its meaning focusing on the worldwide demand for high-quality, sustainable infrastructure in the context of COVID-19 pandemic crisis.

FIDIC Conference invited experts and global leaders from various industries to address different topics around infrastructure at plenary meetings and side events, among which includes B?rge Brende (Chairman of the World Economic Forum), Mark Thurston (Chief Executive Officer of High Speed Rail 2), Enzo de Laurentiis (Chief Procurement Officer of the World Bank), and so on.

ZHU Shuying, Chair of Jianwei Research Center, and CHEN Jun, Head of International Practice Department of City Development Law Firm, were invited to participate. On September 10^th, the team members of International Practice Department, WU Weichun, ZHANG Han and CHEN Ningning, also participated in the FIDIC Conference together, engaged themselves in the legal forum of “the Legal Risk for Infrastructure Industry in a Post-pandemic Scenario”.
