In ITL, FTAs and RTAs are exceptions to MFN. Likewise here in competition law, any bi-party agreement can have special terms between parties. Implementation of MFN like provision, will raise the competition concerns, specially looking at clauses of agreements between PF and Sellers cumulatively. However, in case of wide MFN, the competition will be more on services rather than price and product, whereas in narrow MFN, competition will be on all – price, product and services. Wide MFN can erase competition amongst PFs for price and product and also between online and offline market. whereas Narrow MFN can eliminate the competition largely between online and offline market.
