Divya Thakur, who leads the firm’s investment management practice in Singapore, has an extensive background in advising both established and first-time fund sponsors and managers in the formation of a broad range of investment funds, including hedge funds, private equity funds, venture capital funds, real estate funds, and other structured fund products. She is also highly skilled in advising institutional investors on their fund investments.
Her practice includes counselling clients on carried interest plans, co-investment arrangements, structuring business and ongoing operational, management and compliance issues. Thakur co-leads the firm’s India initiative.
She is qualified in New York and England and Wales, and brings her deep knowledge of international fund offerings and market terms to her representation of an array of clients, including sovereign wealth funds, financial institutions, investment banks, multinational companies, and US, European and Asian companies.
