Introduction
Deepak Nambiar is a partner at Kelley Drye & Warren, one of the oldest law firms in the US. He serves as chair of both the firm’s highly regarded India practice group and its technology transactions & sourcing group. He is also a member of Kelley Drye’s corporate and M&A practice groups. His work spans a wide range of corporate and commercial transactions, with an emphasis on mergers and acquisitions, private equity, technology and outsourcing.
As part of his corporate practice, Deepak has advised on complex M&A and private equity transactions across the US and internationally, with deals valued at several billion dollars. He has also counselled clients on joint ventures and corporate structures, offering strategic guidance on cross-border transactions and intricate deal frameworks.
In his technology and outsourcing practice, Nambiar has represented leading global corporations in enterprise software licensing, system integration projects, and application development and maintenance arrangements. He has extensive experience with IT and business process outsourcing, as well as negotiating cloud service agreements, SaaS contracts, value-added reseller agreements, and digital transformation initiatives. He has also advised on data analytics, mobility and social media transactions.
