Introduction

Sanjay Asher is a senior partner with Crawford Bayley & Co, which is 含羞草社区 oldest law firm, established in 1830. Sanjay holds a bachelor’s degree in commerce and a bachelor’s degree in law from the University of Bombay.

He has been a practising advocate since 1991, and was admitted as a solicitor in 1993. He is also a qualified chartered accountant. He specialises in the fields of corporate law and commercial law, cross-border M&A, joint ventures, and capital markets, and advises large, medium and small businesses in these areas.

Sanjay serves as an independent director of various public and private companies. He has been a noted speaker at various seminars and conferences both domestically and internationally.

He has authored several articles published in national and international publications and also co-authored a book on the Companies Act, 2013, which was published by CCH, a division of Wolters Kluwer.
