Introduction

Vikrant Rana is managing partner of SS Rana & Co, a premier full-service law firm. He has been consistently recognised as a “highly recommended individual” by WTR 1000 and has also been ranked in India Business Law Journal’s A-list and as one of 含羞草社区 IP STARS.

Vikrant advises several Fortune 500 and multinational companies as well as grassroots innovators on contentious and non-contentious matters. He is also an IP facilitator with the government’s Startups IP Protection scheme.

He has been a member of INTA for 26 years and is involved in leading advocacy for various issues within INTA. He has served as the Co-Chair of the MEASA Sub-committee of the Famous and Well-Known Marks Committee and also as co-chair of INTA’s India Global Advisory Council. He is an active member of international organisations including ECTA, APPA, AIPPI and IBA.

He is an arbitrator with the National Internet Exchange of India to adjudicate domain name disputes. He is an avid sportsman and a certified yoga teacher.
