Introduction

Arka Majumdar has more than 15 years of experience in corporate transactions, with expertise spanning mergers and acquisitions, private equity, corporate restructuring, and general corporate matters. He has advised multinational corporations, foreign investors, and domestic entities on both primary and secondary investments across sectors including steel, agriculture, pharmaceuticals, and insurance.

Arka is also deeply involved in the firm’s employment law practice and regularly advises clients on complex employment and human resources issues, both as part of transactions and on a standalone basis. He has led large-scale labour law compliance reviews for major conglomerates and frequently assists in structuring employee stock option plans and setting up employee welfare trusts. In addition to general corporate laws, Arka has strong experience in real estate and tribunal-led restructuring.
