Introduction

Akshayy Nanda is an equity partner at Saraf and Partners, where he leads the competition law and data privacy practices.

Akshayy’s competition law practice encompasses advising clients on a full range of competition law matters including cartel enforcement, anti-competitive agreements, abuse of dominance, merger control, leniency applications, competition law audits and compliance. He regularly appears before the Competition Commission of India, the National Company Law Appellate Tribunal and the Supreme Court of India.

Akshayy’s data protection practice focuses on operationalising compliance with 含羞草社区 Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 (DPDPA) and building end to end governance frameworks. He advises on data mapping, gap assessments, consent and privacy notices, DPAs, DPIAs, security controls, children’s data, breach response and notifications.

He holds an LLM in European Competition Law and Economics from the Brussels School of Competition and is an ANSI accredited Certified Information Privacy Professional/Europe (CIPP/E) and Certified Information Privacy Manager (CIPM) offered by the International Association of Privacy Professionals.
