Han Kun Law Offices has announced on 19 June the launch of its Silicon Valley office in California, US.
This marks Han Kun’s second office in the US, following its New York office, and the firm’s fourth offshore location, adding to its existing branches in Singapore and Hong Kong.
Melody He Junhua will serve as the resident partner in the Silicon Valley office. She joined Han Kun’s Hong Kong office as a partner earlier in January. She practices law in both the US and Hong Kong, specialising in corporate affairs and capital markets.
Han Kun has been strengthening its presence in the US. In early June, the firm welcomed cross-border dispute resolution expert Christine Kang as a partner at its New York office.
The Silicon Valley branch will be operated through Han Kun LLP, a US law firm set up with local attorneys.
