DeHeng Law Offices has reached a strategic co-operation agreement with Australian firm KHQ Lawyers, officially launching its Melbourne office.

On 16 June, the two firms signed the agreement on Beijing’s Financial Street, paving the way for enhanced legal services for Chinese clients in Australia, New Zealand and globally.

As part of the strategic co-operation, KHQ’s Melbourne office will also function as DeHeng’s Melbourne office, and the two firms will not establish a separate office.

The new Melbourne office will be DeHeng’s 17th overseas location, adding to existing branches in major cities worldwide, including The Hague, New York, Paris, Dubai, Brussels, Almaty, Vientiane, Seoul and Tokyo.

The opening of the Melbourne office signifies DeHeng’s expansion into the Oceania market, building on its existing presence in Europe, North America, the Middle East and Asia.

Founded in 2006 in Melbourne, KHQ has grown into a major law firm with more than 130 employees, including 26 partners.
