The Association of Corporate Counsel Hong Kong (ACC HK) will be hosting an event, Practical Steps in Investigations and Compliance, on 19 June at Davis Polk & Wardell in the Hong Kong Club Building, Central.
The event brings together experts from global institutions to address cross-border investigation challenges and the growing role of AI in enhancing compliance outcomes.
Organised in collaboration with a global provider of tech-enabled legal services, Epiq, the programme highlights the complexities of conducting investigations across jurisdictions, including cultural and access-related barriers. With an emphasis on leveraging AI, the session aims to equip in-house counsel with practical tools to drive more efficient and compliant investigations. While AI accelerates workflows, speakers will also address the technology limitations and the safeguards in place.
The event opens with a panel discussion on investigative strategies, followed by closing remarks from Joseph Law, account director at Epiq in Hong Kong. Attendees will then be invited to a cocktail reception and live demo of Epiq’s AI Discovery Assistant, led by Law and solutions architect William Hutcheson of Epiq.
Panel speakers include Mandy Fung, regional head of global investigations and regulatory enforcement at HSBC; Hutcheson, solutions architect at Epiq in APAC; and Yuan Zheng, senior associate at Davis Polk. Law will moderate the discussion.
The seminar is open to ACC members and in-house legal professionals. For more information or to register, visit the .
