Introduction
Yu Xuewen’s practice focuses on civil and commercial litigation and arbitration, as well as legal compliance review and strategic planning in relation to financial management involving banks, funds, trusts and asset management, corporate investment and financing, real estate, construction and engineering.
Yu is adept at handling complex and highly contentious litigation and arbitration cases. He has argued numerous second-instance and retrial cases before the Supreme People’s Court and high courts. One of the cases he handled was featured in China Business Law Journal’s “Deals of the Year 2024” in domestic dispute resolution. His years of practice have equipped him with a deep understanding of the adjudicative thinking and operation of the courts and arbitration bodies.
Yu provides constructive and workable solutions to clients that include large and medium-sized state-owned enterprises, listed companies, private equity investment firms, trust companies, real estate developers, commercial banks and large private enterprises.
Yu earned his bachelor’s and master’s degrees in law from China University of Political Science and Law. He is a prolific author of a number of articles in various influential legal publications and platforms, including Financial Law Forum.
