Introduction
Wang Jiaming is a partner at King & Capital Law Firm and holds a doctorate in criminal procedure law from the University of Chinese Academy of Social Sciences. She serves as a researcher at the Litigation Case Study Center of Renmin University of China. She is also a member of the Chinese Criminal Procedure Law Society, the China Insurance Law Society, the Beijing Lawyers Association’s securities professional committee, and the Beijing Enterprise Legal Risk Prevention and Control Research Association’s expert advisory committee for complex enterprise-related cases.
Wang has a solid legal foundation and rich practical experience in criminal defence and representation, administrative investigation of listed companies and senior executives, corporate crisis response, corporate investigation and anti-corruption and protection of entrepreneurs’ rights and interests. She has eight years’ experience at a “red circle” firm, King & Wood Mallesons. She has provided services for many listed enterprises and entrepreneurs, achieving good results in handling a number of securities and criminal cases involving listed companies, controllers, directors, supervisors and senior personnel with significant influence, as well as a number of economic crimes involving enterprises, crimes committed by entrepreneurs, job-related crimes and criminal and civil cross-border cases.
Wang is also involved in the fields of enterprise risk prevention and control, internal governance and system management, and corporate crisis response, and has provided system construction and rectification, cultural training, anti-corruption and internal investigation projects for many large central state-owned enterprises, private enterprises and multinational enterprises in China, providing clients with high-quality legal services. Her rigorous and pragmatic style and keen insight into industry dynamics have earned her trust from customers and recognition by the industry. She won the 2025 “LegalOne Stellar Accolade: Commercial Crime” award, GRCD’s “Financial Lawyer of the Year” in 2025, and “Preferred Compliance Lawyer for Chinese Clients: Criminal” in 2024.
