Ray Li Rui holds an LLB and an LLM from the University of International Business and Economics. He worked at Global Law Office, Zhong Lun Law Firm and Minsheng Financial Leasing, earning him extensive experience at top law firms and leading financial institutions, with a long-term focus on financial leasing and financial legal affairs.
With over a decade of expertise in financial leasing, Li has a thorough understanding of financial regulatory policies, industrial and commercial logic and transaction rules. He is well-versed in the domestic and cross-border financial leasing of vessels, aircraft, vehicles and core equipment. His clients include leading financial leasing companies such as Everbright, CITIC, Bank of China, Industrial Bank and Huaxia. He has led the first cross-border vessel and equipment leasing projects for many top lessors and has earned the trust and recognition of clients for his rigorous professionalism, efficient service and precise problem-solving capabilities.
As a lead and signing lawyer, he provides full-service legal support for M&A, private financing, and domestic and overseas IPOs across industries. His representative projects include the restructuring of Southern Cement, the H-share listing of Bank of Jinzhou, and the A-share re-listing of Pansoft. He has also provided special legal services and long-term legal counsel to central enterprises including CNNC, AVIC, China Aerospace Science and Technology Corporation, State Energy Group and State Grid Corporation, helping enterprises operate in compliance with laws and regulations.
