Introduction

Qi Qin is a partner at SGLA Law Firm. He served at another renowned law firm prior to SGLA and worked in the legal department of a central enterprise before becoming a lawyer.

Qi has delivered superior administrative legal services to government agencies such as the Shenzhen Municipal Finance Bureau, the Shenzhen Municipal Science and Technology Innovation Commission, the Shenzhen Municipal Government Development Research Center (Policy Research Office), the Bao’an District Finance Bureau, the Longhua District Housing and Urban-Rural Development Bureau, and the Longhua District Guanlan Subdistrict Office. He has served as a long-term legal adviser for multiple state-owned enterprises, central enterprises and private companies in industries such as construction engineering and education, with extensive experience in dispute resolution. He has acted as a defence lawyer in several commercial crime cases, achieving favourable outcomes and being repeatedly recognised for exemplary performance.

Qi also holds multiple social positions, including as a procurement review expert for the Shenzhen Municipal Government, a special invited mediator for the Nanshan District Human Resources Bureau of Shenzhen, a mediation expert for the Longhua District Service Station of the Shenzhen Neutral Legal Services Society, and an expert member of the data security committee of the Jiangsu Provincial Big Data Trading and Circulation Engineering Laboratory. He has been appointed as an off-campus employment mentor (Guangdong) for the College of Law at Yangtze University, sharing practical experience.

Qi has been recognised by international legal rating agencies on multiple occasions, including being honoured as one of the ¡°Top 15 Rising Stars in Southern China¡± and selected as a ¡°Client-Preferred Lawyer¡± in the 2025 Asian Legal Business China rankings.
