Introduction
Du Yao graduated from China University of Political Science and Law with a master’s degree in civil and commercial law.
Du has worked in Jingtian & Gongcheng since 2012 and became a partner in 2019. Prior to this, she worked for four years at the Beijing Huairou District People’s Court as a judge.
Du specialises in funds and PE, M&A, securities, enterprise reorganisation and restructure. She
has extensive experience in the areas of M&A and PE financing. She has provided a wide range of legal services for investors to carry out transborder M&A or PE investment transactions, including conducting due diligence, designing transaction structures, participating in negotiations, drafting legal documents, and issuing legal opinions.
Du was admitted to the PRC bar in 2013.
