Introduction

Zhu Xiaodong is an executive partner at Tian Yuan Law Firm, and a member of its management committee. He serves as the deputy director of the Ninth Civil Law Committee of the All China Lawyers Association.

He obtained his bachelor¡¯s degree from China University of Political Science and Law (1999), his law master¡¯s degree from Beijing University (2002), his LLM in international comparative law from Illinois Institute of Technology in the US (2009), and his PhD from Renmin University of China (2017).

Zhu has been recognised as a leading lawyer in the field of dispute resolution by China Business Law Journal, Chambers and Partners, Benchmark Litigation, Asian Legal Business, The Legal 500, IFLR1000 and Legalband for many years. He is a highly qualified lawyer in the Xicheng district in Beijing, specialising in corporate and international laws, as assessed and conferred by the Beijing Municipal Bureau of Justice and the Beijing Lawyers Association.

Zhu has been engaged in domestic and cross-border commercial dispute resolution for years, specialising in complex and difficult commercial litigation and arbitration disputes, mostly involving cases on corporate investment, financing and M&A, corporate legal disputes, non-performing assets, international engineering and trade, etc., with an aggregate value of hundreds of billions of renminbi.
