Introduction

Bowie Fung is a founding partner of CFN Lawyers. She has 20 years of extensive experience in corporate finance and capital markets, covering IPO projects, corporate restructuring, M&A, joint venture formation, private equity, China-related corporate and commercial matters, corporate governance, regulatory compliance, internal control, company secretarial matters, and other general commercial legal matters.

Fung has accumulated substantial and practical experience in local and international law firms. She also worked at BOC Hong Kong, a blue-chip listed company in Hong Kong, where she gained insights and practical experience in daily business management and operations in a listed company.

She is among the first batch of Hong Kong lawyers who passed the 2021 Greater Bay Area Legal Professional Examination.

While devoted to her career as a practising solicitor, Fung is also committed to contributing to society. She has been appointed by the Hong Kong government as a member of the Hong Kong Air Transport Licensing Authority since 2022. She was also appointed by the Film Censorship Authority as a member of the Panel of Advisers on Film Censorship in 2023. Fung also acts as the Hong Kong legal adviser for the International Association of Registered Financial Consultants of Hong Kong and Macau.
