Introduction

Ying was admitted in 2000, and she has practiced law over 20 years, particularly before the Chinese courts. Ying is one of the earliest Chinese lawyers that started IP practice in 1990¡¯s. Ying has extensive experience in IP development and protection strategy, IP portfolio management and commercial licensing, complex IP cases and related contentious matters, including settlement discussion. Ying also represents clients in a variety of industries in general civil action and administrative action before Chinese courts, arbitral institution and other administrative bodies.

Prior to joining JT&N, Ying worked for a basic level court in Beijing, then a major UK IP consulting company Beijing office before joining a boutique IP litigation law firm, and the ¡°Magic Circle¡± firm, Clifford Chance.

Ying has been selected as Senior Trademark Talent by China Trademark Association. She has been named as “Top 15 IP Lawyers in China”” IP Experts” and “Leading Lawyer” by Asian Legal Business, Asia IP, World Trademark Review.
