Cyril Amarchand Mangaldas (CAM), Cooley, S&R Associates and Saul Ewing have counselled parties on Cerebrus Capital Management’s minority investment in Aquatech International for an undisclosed amount.
CAM acted as Indian legal counsel for Aquatech International, which is a global company helping enterprises solve complex challenges in water reuse, desalination, minimal and zero liquid discharge, and critical minerals processing. CAM also represented Aquatech’s promoters.
Partners Ajay Sawhney and Bhupendra Verma led the core transaction team, with support from associate Anurag Mawai. Partner SR Patnaik advised on tax structuring and principal associate Thangadurai VP assisted. Saul Ewing counselled Aquatech on US law.
The current investment involved the purchase of both primary and secondary membership interests, led by Cerberus’s supply chain and strategic opportunities platform, which partners with businesses that address constraints in the global supply chain.
Cooley counselled Cerebrus on US law, while S&R Associates advised on Indian law matters.
