Introduction
Insan Budi Maulana is a legal figure in Indonesia with an extensive 30 years of practicing IP, dispute resolutions, and corporate law. He is also a Professor of Law, teaches at top universities in Indonesia and a speaker at local and international seminars.
During his career, Dr Maulana has written 26 books and more than 90 articles on IP and other legal topics. As an expert on IP and competition law, he actively contributes his expertise by attending meetings and hearings with Indonesian parliament, government ministries and agencies. Additionally, he worked with the parliament for several changes to the Intellectual Property Rights Act.
Dr Maulana’s continuing dedication to the law, especially to IP in Indonesia, has put him in the spotlight. He has been recognised by Asia Business Law Journal as Indonesia’s Top 100 Lawyers A Top List for seven years in a row.
