Introduction

Rio Lassatrio is a co-founder and managing partner at LHBM Counsel. He led a team of experienced lawyers who provide legal services to national and multinational clients in various sectors, especially in corporate law, construction, capital market and commercial litigation. With over than 14 years of experience, he has successfully represented and advised clients in numerous high-profile and complex transactions and disputes, both locally and internationally.

Lassatrio is also a member of audit committee at PT Graha Layar Prima Tbk, an Indonesia-based cinema operator that operates and manages a movie theatre chain under the brand name CGV Cinemas, where he oversees the compliance aspect. Lassatrio holds LLM degree from the University of Queensland and SH degree from Universitas Katolik Parahyangan. He was named as one of Indonesia’s top 100 lawyers for four consecutive years by Asia Business Law Journal from 2020 to 2023 and recognised as Indonesia’s Rising Star in 2019 by Asian Legal Business.

Lassatrio is a member of the Indonesian Bar Association (Peradi) and Capital Market Legal Consultant Association (Himpunan Konsultan Hukum Pasar Modal/HKHPM), and is registered as a legal consultant with the Indonesian Financial Authority Services (Otoritas Jasa Keuangan/OJK). In addition, Lassatrio is also a frequent contributor of World Bank Group’s Doing Business project.
