Introduction
Kirana Sastrawijaya is a senior partner at UMBRA Strategic Legal Solutions and is one of the best power lawyers in Indonesia with nearly two decades of practical experience in the fields of power, energy, construction and infrastructure. She has represented major international and local clients and their major subsidiaries in various high-profile power and infrastructure deals (having a combined capacity of more than 10,000 MW) and has extensive experience in drafting and negotiating all types of project documents including power purchase agreements (covering all types of PPAs for different power plants), EPC contracts, O&M contracts, and fuel supply contracts.
Sastrawijaya is also well versed in renewables, oil & gas, project financing, public-private partnership schemes, M&A in the energy and natural resources sectors, state-owned enterprises, and regional-owned enterprises, and has built close relationships with government institutions and international and local NGOs for the preparation of regulations related to power, energy, and renewables in Indonesia. Not only that, as part of her significant contribution to renewable energy development, Sastrawijaya possesses extensive knowledge in energy, social and governance, energy efficiency and other carbon related matter.
