Introduction
Erwin Kurnia Winenda is a partner at Hanafiah Ponggawa & Partners (Dentons HPRP), leading the capital markets division. He joined the firm in 2008, bringing over 8 years of experience from top Jakarta law firms, specialising in capital markets, corporate, banking, finance, infrastructure and natural resources.
Winenda has extensive experience advising on capital markets transactions, including initial public offerings (IPOs), bond issuances, rights issues and securitisations, including onshore and offshore offerings. In the banking and finance sector, he focuses on bank financing, including Sharia compliance, and he has been engaged by Bank BNI as external legal counsel since 2013, provides legal counsel to financial institutions and insurance companies.
He has also played a key role in corporate and commercial matters, handling mergers and acquisitions, debt restructuring, joint ventures and investment projects. Winenda’s clients include Bank BNI, Bahana TCW, PT Segar Kumala Indonesia Tbk, PT Jasa Marga (Persero) Tbk and Alpha JWC Ventures Group, among others.
