As the head of the mega projects and state-owned enterprises practice at Corra Legal, Kadri is a trusted counsel for large-scale reorganisations and public-sector legal strategies. His landmark career is highlighted by his instrumental role in the 1999 consolidation of four state banks to form Bank Mandiri. His expertise in the banking sector is further evidenced by his leadership in the mergers of Bank Danamon and Bank Permata, and the creation of Bank Mizuho Indonesia. During?the past two decades, he has navigated numerous high-profile bank share-sale transactions, representing sellers, buyers?and financiers for institutions such as Bank BCA, Bank Internasional Indonesia, and Bank J Trust Indonesia.
Recently, Kadri served as lead counsel in the monumental USD21 billion restructuring of Indonesian state-owned electricity company PLN. This ambitious project involved the legal transfer of more than?21,000MW in generation assets and the establishment of four sub-holding companies, marking a historic transition in Indonesia’s energy sector.
His governance expertise is equally distinguished. From 2021 to 2024, he sat on the investment monitoring and risk management committee of Pertamina, advising the board of commissioners on structural alignment and investment thresholds.
