Introduction
Justisiari Kusumah, or?Justi, born in Bandung on 31 March?1970, is the founder and managing partner of K&K Advocates. He leads the firm’s commercial intellectual property (IP) and dispute resolution practice groups. Widely recognised for his expertise, he has been named a leading intellectual property rights (IPR) lawyer by Asia Pacific Legal 500, World Trademark Review?and Chambers Asia.
He earned his Doctor of Laws from the Faculty of Law, Pelita Harapan University. Between 2012 and 2016, Justi contributed to drafting key IPR regulations as a member of the expert team under the Ministry of Law and Human Rights, and served in various task forces within the Ministry of Communication and Informatics.
He has represented Indonesia at?international forums, including the USTR Public Hearing and WIPO General Assembly. Currently, he serves as executive director of MIAP and holds roles within INTA, while actively contributing to academia and legal discourse.
