AnJie Broad’s Guangzhou office has recruited partners Tian Miao, Wang Jiang and Wang Jue from Winlong Law Firm to enhance its criminal defence and foreign investment capabilities.

Tian and Wang Jiang, former deputy directors of Winlong’s management committee, led the previous firm’s criminal defence and risk prevention department. Before starting their legal career, Tian had served at a municipal procuratorate in the Greater Bay Area as a national first-level prosecutor and senior public prosecutor. Wang Jiang brings 14 years of judicial experience.

Well-versed in criminal investigations, both Tian and Wang Jiang have handled significant cases involving duty crimes, smuggling, and tax-related offences. They are equipped to provide defence in economic criminal cases and handle civil-criminal overlap cases, as well as conduct anti-fraud investigations for companies.

With extensive experience in foreign investment, Wang Jue specialises in cross-border investment, M&A, labour and employment, and bankruptcy restructuring and liquidation. In 2022, she was selected as a leading lawyer for foreign-related issues by the Guangzhou Lawyers Association.
