Malaysian law firm Adnan Sundra & Low has brought back Sharon Teoh as a partner in its banking and finance practice group.
Teoh previously spent more than six years at the firm, where she rose to managing associate, before moving in-house as legal counsel at Ant International, a global digital payments and fintech solutions company.
“She started her career here, and it’s great to see her return to further build on her strengths in complex financing and sukuk structures as we continue to grow together and strengthen the firm’s position at the forefront of Malaysia’s financing market,” joint managing partner Rodney D’Cruz told Asia Business Law Journal.
Teoh specialises in banking, finance and capital markets, advising local and foreign enterprises on bilateral and syndicated financing, including Islamic structures. Her experience also covers debt capital markets, including bonds, sukuk, asset-backed securitisation and ESG-linked issuances.
